The Alabama Power program: “One of a kind” is a phrase often used to describe our HVAC Training Center. Located in Jasper, Alabama, the state-of-the-art facility has provided training, professional development and continuing education to over 38,000+ participants from 45 states and three countries since 1986. Alabama Power partners with Bevill State and Bishop State colleges to further develop technician knowledge and skills after finding a distinct demand.

Several sources, including the North Carolina Alternative Energy Corporation, have cited figures around 90% of HVAC systems being installed incorrectly. The Alabama Power HVAC program was developed to improve HVAC technician knowledge and skills to combat poor service and installation practices.
